of the Botanic Garden
The site for the new garden
is located on 432 acres near the southern end of Settler's Cabin County
Park, just 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh.
Directions
to the Botanic Garden Site
From
Downtown Pittsburgh:
- Parkway
West/279 South (towards Airport)
- Take the
22/30 West exit (to the Post-Gazette Pavillion). This is the exit
immediately before the Ikea/Robinson Town Center exit.
- On 22/30
West, take the second exit (Oakdale)
- At the
light at the end of exit ramp, turn left onto McKee Road
- Continue
on McKee Road for 3 miles into the town of Oakdale. Curve around to
the left. McKee Road becomes Noblestown Road. (Do not turn right onto
Rt 978).
- The Botanic
Garden site is about 1 mile down Noblestown Road on the left. Rinker
Materials is directly across the road from the garden.

From
Downtown Pittsburgh:
Take I-279 S (Parkway West) through Ft. Pitt Tunnels towards the Airport
Take exit 4A towards PA-121 towards Greentree/Crafton
Turn left onto PA-121 (Blue Beltway), then an immediate left on to Poplar
Street (850 Poplar Street)
From
Pittsburgh International Airport:
Take ramp onto SR-60 towards Pittsburgh - PA-60 (road turns changes
to US-22/30, after 3.5 miles, road name changes to I-279N)
Take exit 4A, turn right onto ramp towards PA-121 Greentree/Mt. Lebanon
Turn left onto SR-121 (Blue Beltway)
Turn left to stay on SR-121
Turn left onto Poplar Street (850 Poplar Street)
